Chairman Yair Lapid of the Yesh Atid party said, Thursday evening, "The only way is a realֲ joining of the hands by the moderate forces of the right, the center and the left. Any other possibility will leave us with a government that is controlled by the extreme right and the hareidi religious who don't understand that the workhorse on which they are riding is about to collapse."
Speaking at a gathering of the Me'uravim (involved) organization in Eilat, Lapid added, "I believe that next Tuesday, it will become clear that Yesh Atid has big power to lead such a unification process. We must relearn how to work together: capitalists and socialists, left and right, religious [Zionists], secular and hareidi-religious. We came to change."
