The rebels in Somalia have announced that the French intelligence agent abducted over 3 years ago has been executed.

Last week, a French military raid aimed at rescuing the agent failed. 2 French commandoes and 17 Somalis were killed. France believed the hostage, Alex Denise was killed in the raid.
