Maariv Poll: Close Race Between Bayit Yehudi and Labor


A Maagar Mochot Institute poll released this morning shows a close race between Sheli Yechimovich's Labor party and the Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home) party headed by Naftali Bennett for the second largest party in the Knesset.

According to the poll, LIkud-Beytenu party gets 37 seats, Labor is down to 15 and Bayit Yehudi gets 14 seats.

The poll gives Shas 12 seats, centrist Yesh Atid headed by Yair Lapid gets 8, leftist Meretz surpasses Livni with 7 seats while Livni's Hatnua party is down to 5, Kadima headed by Shaul Mofaz has 3 seats and Otzma LeYisrael of Ben Ari and Eldad passes the Knesset threshold with 2 seats.
