Deposed Egyptian president, Hosni Mubarak, has agreed to a settlement and will pay close to $3 million for the gifts he and his family accepted from official newspaper Al Ahram during a five year period.

The gifts to the Mubarak family included luxury watches, jewels and designer handbags.
