Gush Etzion Council Chairman Davidi Perl responded to the Peace Now indicating unprecedented Yesha growth in 2012, “Gush Etzion leads in population growth over the last six months. Our 14 towns have added 1015 new residents who have come to settle the land.

“The government is to be congratulated for its contribution to Yesha and Gush Etzion expansion. The approval of the new Gush city Gvaot is another stage in the development of this fertile, blooming land home to tens of thousands of residents. These increases demonstrate that the Gush attracts residents looking for high living standards, education and culture,” added Perl.
