Jewish Home: Hospital Space a National Priority

Shuli Muallem, a candidate with the Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home) party, responded Tuesday to the crisis in hospitals, which are facing an acute shortage of beds.

“Deputy Minister Litzman has done much during his term to boost the public health system, something that didn’t happen under previous administrations,” Muallem said. “However,” she added, “it’s an outrage that when it comes to bed space Israel is lagging behind many Western countries… This is a matter of national importance.”

Muallem formerly worked as a hospital nurse.
