Hundreds of people marched Tuesday in the city of Hevron in protest of legal rulings that have made it virtually impossible for Jews to buy property from Arabs. In multiple recent cases Jews have purchased homes in Hevron from Arabs only to have a court overturn the sale.
The marchers called on the government to not only allow Jews to buy houses in the city, but to actively promote such purchases, particularly in the historically Jewish neighborhoods of the city.
