The Elections Committee has banned an ad for the Aleh Yarok (“Green Leaf”) party. The ad allegedly encouraged viewers to falsely declare themselves handicapped in order to be able to vote from special polling stations – a violation of elections protocol.

Aleh Yarok is known for supporting the legalization of marijuana. In the current elections it has focused on other elements of its platform, particularly a call for lower taxes and smaller government.
