The Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home) faction was censured by the Elections Committee on Tuesday for including a picture of IDF soldiers in an advertisement after having been warned over a similar ad in the past. Israel’s elections laws prohibit using pictures of soldiers.

Party officials apologized and said they have issued guidelines to all staff to ensure there will be no similar incidents in the future. In place of a fine, the party offered to donate 10,000 shekels to ALUT, the Israeli Society for Autistic Children.
