Gabriella Oil Rig Approved

The Modiin Oil company can relax: The Tel Aviv City Planning Council has approved the Gabriella oil rig off the shores of Herzliya, with prospectors estimating a yield of about 130 million barrels. The Council denied the protest of the Nature and Parks Authority who claimed the drilling is right in the middle of a marine reserve. (Yediot Aharonot)
