Finder of Majdi Halabi's Body Rejects State's Reward

Ibrahim Kozali, a resident of the Druze village of Daliyat al-Carmel near Haifa who located the remains of missing soldier Majdi Halabi several months ago, has rejected the prosecution's offer to accept a reward of 100,000 shekels for finding the body, Channel 10 News reported on Sunday.

Kozali's lawyers are asking that their client be given the full $10 million reward that the Born to Freedom Foundation had offered to anyone with information on Halabi’s whereabouts. The lawyers filed a lawsuit against the State, claiming that the State of Israel and the Ministry of Defense, which financed the activities of the now disbanded organization, are responsible for handing out the reward.
