The Aleh Yarok (“Green Leaf”) party has threatened to publicize the names of 18 Knesset candidates, including 14 currents MKs, who it says currently use or have used cannabis as a recreational drug. Aleh Yarok supports the legalization of marijuana. Aleh Yarok leader Yaron Lerman called on the MKs in question to “admit to it quickly, and explain to the public why they think other cannabis users should have their names besmirched with a criminal record, but they should not.”
