Hatnua party head Tzipi Livni criticized Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday for his approach to Hamas. “Until Netanyahu came to power, Hamas was isolated,” Livni argued. “After ‘Pillar of Defense’ Netanyahu gave them international legitimacy.”
Netanyahu’s policy in Judea and Samaria will bring Hamas to power in those areas, too, Livni warned. She accused Netanyahu of not doing enough to start dialogue with the Palestinian Authority.
