Former Kadima head Tzipi Livni, the head of the Hatnua (Movement) party, said Sunday that she would join a coalition led by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu if he were to engage in serious negotiations with the Palestinian Authority.
Netanyahu has repeatedly called on the PA to negotiate, but PA leaders say they will not sit down for talks unless Israel makes several concessions first, including commitments on core issues such as borders. Livni has frequently criticized Netanyahu for not conducting negotiations.
