Complaint over Economy Party’s Stripper Ad

MK Orit Zuaretz (Hatnua) has filed a complaint to the Elections Committee over an ad run recently by the Calcala (Economy) party. The ad shows a young woman removing her clothing while listing taxes and services that Israelis are required to pay for, such as income tax, electricity and housing.

“The state is stripping us,” the ad concludes.

MK Zuaretz said, “There is a limit to the degradation of women and the exploitation of their bodies for political gain. I’m surprised the Elections Committee approved a video like this, which uses a woman’s body in a crude and degrading manner.”
