Public Health Emergency in NY Amid Flu Outbreak

New York declared a public health emergency Saturday amid what many are calling the worst flu outbreak in years.

New York's Governor Andrew Cuomo pushed through legislation which will allow pharmacies to administer flu shots to children and not just adults.

New York has already experienced more than three times as many flu cases this year than last, up from roughly 4,400 to 19,100.
