Voting by Israeli Emissaries Abroad Ends

With the closing of the Israeli consulate in Los Angeles at 8:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, Thursday evening (6:00 Friday morning in Israel), came the end of balloting in January's Knesset elections by about 4,000 representatives of the Foreign Ministry, the Jewish Agency and the Zionist Federation of Israel serving abroad.

The first of the 96 diplomatic missions around the world to host the voting was the one in Wellington, New Zealand, Thursday morning at 10:00 (11:00 p.m. Wednesday in Israel).
