      Jerusalem: Free Public Transportation Over

Seven o'clock, Thursday evening, marked the end of free public transportation in Jerusalem, intended to encourage people to leave their cars at home as this week's winter storm hit its peak. While the capital's light rail is operating as usual, there are some delays in city bus lines.

Highways leading into the city are open and intercity bus lines are operating.
