The Central Elections Committee has banned a Shas ad depicting a marriage held up pending a fictive conversion certificate, as well as a Balad ad featuring Israeli politicians singing an Arab version of the Israeli national anthem. The ads copuld not be banned from YouTube, and are racking up tens of thousands of hits. (NY Times)
