A 30-year-old driver had to be rescued, Tuesday morning, after his car was swept into the Modi'in Ilit river bed, which has filled because of the current rainstorm.

It took rescue workers from the fire department  the better part of an hour to rescue the man, who was sent to hospital after receiving treatment at the scene from volunteer paramedics of the Ichud Hatzalah emergency service.
