Meretz Chairwoman Zahava Gal-On, commented Monday night on Tzipi Livni's plan to create a center-left block, saying, "It was a spin failure, a virtual attempt to build a virtual block," she said in an interview on Channel 10. 

"To me, the center is the lowest place in Israeli politics," said Gal-On. "They decided to produce the block when Meretz rose in the polls. Even Yachimovich realized she needed to stop the downfall."
