The Azrieli shopping center in Modi'in, halfway between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, was flooded by heavy rains that fell in the area, Monday morning. Water rose to a height of 40 centimeters/16 inches. No injuries were reported.

Highway 574 was closed between the Barkai Junction and Baka Al-Gharbiya, in the northern part of central Israel, due to flooding.
