Thousands are expected to take part in the 10th annual Jerusalem Conference, sponsored by the Besheva' weekly, which opened, Monday morning at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Prize will be presented to Rabbi Yisrael Ariel of the Temple Institute and religious Zionist leader, Rabbi Haim Druckman, as well as Doctor Eli Schossheim of the Efrat organization, which promotes adoption as an alternative to abortion. The conference will also feature a panel entitled "Israeli Arabs: Deprived or preferred" with Co-chairman Aryeh Eldad of the Otzma Leyisrael party and Manager Suhil Kharem of Radio Ash-Shams. Another interesting panel will ask if the religious Zionist public should be sectoralized into one party or integrated into other parties. Rabbi Shai Piron will represent the Yesh Atid party, while the Likud and Habayit Hayehudi (Jewish Home-New National Religious Party) will also be represented.
