Police: Don't Try to Drive Across Riverbeds

The police called on the public, Monday morning, to adhere to practices related to driving in stormy weather. They stressed that drivers maintain a safe distance for braking before vehicles in front of them, especially given the possiblity for reduced visibility.

They also warned against trying to cross riverbeds, even in all-terrain vehicles, because of the danger of a vehicle being swept away and the drowning of its occupants.
