Winds, ranging from 35-85 kilometers/23-55 miles an hour are expected Monday, with rain in most of the country and snow on Mount Hermon. There's a risk of continued flooding in the coastal plain, with flash floods possible in the river beds of the south, the Jordan Valley and the Judean Desert through Thursday. The winds are expected to remain strong through Thursday. The rain is expected to retreat to the north and center on Tuesday, returning to the south Tuesday evening and continuing through Thursday, when it will weaken in the afternoon. Snow will spread to northern peaks and maybe central peaks on Tuesday evening. With temperatures dropping to extremely cold levels, snow is expected in Jerusalem with a chance of snowfall on the Negev mountains on Wednesday. There's a chance of snow in Jerusalem on Thursday as temperatures remain extremely cold.
