Haniyeh: Free Palestine

Gaza Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh called, Sunday, to free "Palestine" from the "Jewish occupier." Meeting with a delegation from Morocco, which heads the presidium of the Al-Quds Committee, which is responsible for the defense of "Arab" Jerusalem, he called for a meeting of the committee and the outlining of plans to deal with what he called, "the Israeli pursuit of dividing the holy city." He warned, "The city is not safe from the plans of the thieving Israelis."

Haniyeh said, "Palestine won't be liberated from 'within' (meaning from within its borders) and as long as Gaza adheres to a firm stance and no concessions on its founding principles, the nation and the peoples (Muslims and Arabs) must rise, organize, outline strategic plans for the liberation of Palestine and Al-Quds [Jerusalem] and draw the signs of liberation."
