2 Jerusalem Leftists Cleared of Interfering with IDF

The Jerusalem Magistrates Court acquitted two Jerusalem leftists of interfering with the Israel Defense Forces who were securing the destruction of a house next to the Judean Arab village of Beit Jalla, at the southern end of Jerusalem.

The judge in the case ruled that it was not proven that the defendants did not heed the declaration of a protest gathering as illegal and were removed from the area. The judge stressed that the defendants claimed there was no declaration of illegal assembly and they were arrested without provocation on their part.
