MK Faina Kirshenbaum (Likud-Beytenu) responded to Tzipi Livni's proposal to unite Yesh Atid, HaTnua and Labor and create a center-left block, saying she believes that consolidation "will strengthen the national camp."
At a cultural event in Beer Sheba on Saturday, Kirschenbaum said that, "the Israeli public understands that the next government will have to deal with the critical questions and challenges of the first order, and in my estimate, a united left should strengthen the national camp."
She added, "In order to solve the housing problem, Likud-Beytenu must be tough on the three departments it will set up - housing, interior and finance, which will be in the hands of the shared list."
