Netanyahu: Hamas Presence Stresses Our Demands of PA

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told Israel's ambassadors, Thursday night, that in the short term, he expects the shakeup in Israel's Arab neighbors to continue and in the long term there's a chance for change if Iran is prevented from achieving nuclear military power. He said the Islamic Republic remains the Number-1 threat.

On the local diplomatic front, Netanyahu said, "Hamas can take over the Palestinian Authority and therefore we must insure solid security arrangements, to insure that any agreement includes recognition of Israel as the state of the Jewish people and to demand a real declaration of the end of the conflict. The meaning of the [Arab] right of return is the elimination of Israel ."
