Cen. African Repub Rebels Halt Advance, Agree to Talks

The Seleka rebels in Central African Republic agreed to start peace talks Wednesday, halting their advance on the capital of Bangui. After three-weeks of intense fighting that threatened to overthrow President Francois Bozize, the rebels agreed to start negotiations and avoid an even bloodier fight. However, the rebels have made it clear that any agreed-upon negotiation would result in the removal of the President.
