A source who is part of an Egyptian fact-finding mission into the events of the Egyptian revolution revealed that former President Hosni Mubarak watched the entire uprising unfold through a live television feed,  a newly revealed fact that could lead to a mistrial for the 84-old Mubarak who is already serving a life sentence.

During his trial, Mubarak denied knowing the size of the protests and claimed he did not know government forces were using violence against the protesters. 

 Mubarak was convicted of failing to prevent the deaths of around 900 protesters. 

The report also revealed that security and military forced used live ammo against protesters, something they had repeatedly denied.
