The shekel dropped in 2012 in comparison to most foreign currencies included in currency trading in Israel, the Central Bureau of Statistics reported Wednesday.
The shekel dropped by 7.1% compared to the U.S. dollar after strengthening by 4.3% vis-à-vis the dollar in 2011. The shekel was also down by 7.1% compared to the yen, but was up by 0.5% against the euro.
