A campaign started on the Facebook social networking site on Tuesday attacks several leading religious-Zionist rabbis in a campaign against the Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home) party. Among those criticized were Rabbi Zalman Melamed, Rabbi Dov Lior, and Rabbi Eli Ben-Dahan.

In one attack, it was said that Rabbi Dov Lior “thinks that Baruch Goldstein is more holy than all of the martyrs of the Holocaust.” Another comment says, “When you vote for Bennett, you are voting for Rabbi Ben-Dahan, who was convicted of discriminating against women.”

Sources in the political world labeled the campaign “nothing short of anti-Semitic,” and accused those behind it of incitement.
