Former Deputy Mayor Sentenced to 300 Hours Comm Service


The Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court sentenced the former Deputy Mayor of Petah Tikva, Sinai Gilboa, to 300 hours of community service and a mandatory fine of 250,000 NIS as part of a plea bargain for charges of breach of trust.

According to the indictment, Gilboa accepted bribes from the Dan bus company in the amount of 15 million NIS in exchange for using his status to kill a plan to develop land that the company owned in Petah Tikva.
