Kadima Checking if Livni Used its Data Base

The Kadima party is checking to see if former Kadima leader Tzipi Livni's Hatenu'ah party made use of Kadima's official data base to make contact with its members, even if they were never registered as activists or supporters of Livni or her party.

Kadima legal sources say that if it becomes clear that Livni did make use of the data base, it may be a violation of three different laws: Use of a data base for purposes other than the one for which it was established, breach of confidentiality and violation of privacy.
