Astrologers: RIP Oslo Accords, 1993-2013

With the secular year coming to an end, many prognostications – mostly for fun, sometimes for profit – and “end of year” predictions abound in newspapers around the world. Israel's secular newspapers are doing their level best to compete, with various astrologers, tea-leaf gurus, and palm readers coming forth with a flood of predictions on the prospects for war and peace, who will win the elections, and how many people will actually read and remember their predictions by December 2013.

Yisrael Hayom, the free daily newspaper funded by American millionaire Sheldon Adelson, has its own astrology section, and on Sunday the paper's stargazers took a stab at reading the future. And as it turns out, one of their “readings” predicts a bitter fate for the Oslo Accords.
