Supreme Court Judge Eliakim Rubinstein rejected a petition Wednesday against Ariel University. Earlier this week Ariel became Israel's 8th official university after years of scrutiny to ensure it fulfilled academic standards. Ariel University of Samaria was founded in 1982 and currently serves about 14,000 students. All Israelis citizens are eligible to enroll at the institution.
