The Nazareth District Court has rejected an appeal from MK Said Nafa (Balad) over the decision to strip him of his diplomatic immunity regarding a 2007 visit to Syria. The court upheld the decision, leaving Nafa open to charges of contact with a foreign agent for activity during the trip.
Nafa may be charged over a meeting he held with a leader of the Popular Front terrorist group, and over an attempt to meet with Hamas head Khaled Mashaal
