Security Prisoners Not Eligible to Study in College

The Supreme Court ruled that convicts termed "security prisoners" jailed in Israel are not eligible to study at the Open University. President of the Supreme Court Asher Grunis wrote the decision regarding three people who fall under the category of "security prisoners". He stated that the prisoner's rights to academic studies were not anchored in law. The Supreme Court ruled it was not discrimination to deny such prisoners access to higher education.
