They may be seen as political rivals, but they also could be planning to incorporate each other's Knesset Members into a future government coalition. At least that's report according to sources who spoke with Galei Tzahal radio on Tuesday. Officials with Tzipi Livni's HaTenua party indicated that the two sides examined the possibility of the integration of Knesset Members into a future coalition in the event that Netanyahu wins the elections. Such a move could likely result in HaTenua members being part of Netanyahu's cabinet. Other Likud officials denied the report.
In the 2009 elections, Livni refused to join with Netanyahu. Elections are scheduled for January 22nd. All polls show Netanyahu in the lead.
