Egyptian Opposition: Islamists Stealing the Revolution

Hamdeen Sabahi, a prominent Egyptian opposition figure who was also a presidential candidate in the last election, said on Monday that most of the citizens of Egypt are not Islamists and that the Muslim Brotherhood's achievements in the country are because of irregularities.

Sabahi claimed that Islamist groups were "trying to steal" the revolution, adding that "we will prevent them from doing so. President Mohammed Morsi came to power democratically, but he does not implement his role in a democratic manner."
