Yisrael Beiteinu chairman Avigdor Lieberman welcomed the recognition of the college in Ariel as a university, saying, "This is another important promise of Yisrael Beiteinu which has been realized and it will contribute additional contributions, to both encourage settlement in Judea and Samaria and to strengthen higher education and the welfare of the students."
