Trivia Game Aims to Improve Voter Turnout

The Israel Democracy Institute has come out with a trivia game on its Facebook page. Interviewed by Arutz Sheva's Hebrew service, Dr. Ofer Keoenig, who edited the approximately 150 questions, said Democratrivia is divided into general questions about politics and the political structure in Israel, more colorful questions about personalities and slogans, and questions about the system of government.

While those who play the game include people who are addicted to politics and current events, Dr. Koenig said they are not alone. He said the central goal of the game is "to tickle the voter" and get participants involved in the real political game, that is to get out and vote, even if they would rather play the apathy game.
