MK Hotovely Won't Respond on Refusing Orders

MK Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) refused on Friday to answer, when asked by Arutz Sheva, how she would act in the event of an order to expel Jews from their homes.

It should be noted that two years ago, at a conference entitled "Disobedience, Protest, Society" held at the Bar Ilan University, MK Hotovely said that it "is legitimate in my view when a person tells his commander, 'I am willing to be killed in the Lebanon War or in Operation Cast Lead but am not willing to destroy the home of my neighbor or the home of a Jew because it corrupts me morally."

(Arutz Sheva’s North American Desk is keeping you updated until the start of Shabbat in New York. The time posted automatically on all Arutz Sheva articles, however, is Israeli time.)
