Defense Minister Ehud Barak eulogized former chief of staff Amnon Lipkin-Shahak by reviewing the 30-year path their lives took together, recalling his bravery, composure and unyielding character on the battlefield and at the negotiating table. Barak said Lipkin-Shahak supported the notion of two states for two peoples but only if Israel and its neighbors both take courageous steps.
