In the speech marking the return of MK Yoram Marciano to the Knesset after a hiatus during the 18th Knesset, Marciano announced: “I was sorry Amir Peretz was mistreated and forced to resign. I, too have resigned all my Labor party positions. I will support and assist PM Netanyahu any way I can.”

Marciano is not on any other Knesset list and is not slated for re-election to the 19th Knesset.
