Thief Nabbed Thanks to Hamburger Order

A 17-year-old who allegedly stole an elderly woman’s credit card was nabbed after using it to order hamburgers. After the youth phoned in his order to a local restaurant, the alert store owner noticed that the same card number had been used in a previous order made under a different name and address.

The owner contacted police, who found a unique way to question the young suspect. An officer picked up the hamburger order and posed as a delivery man in order to speak to the youth. When the young suspect realized he was talking to a police officer he tried to flee, but was caught by two other officers waiting nearby.
