Six Kadima party members on the Elections Committee plan to vote to bar MK Hanin Zoabi from Knesset, according to MK Yuval Zeller. With their support there will be a majority on the committee in favor of her ouster.

The committee can ban individuals or parties from running for Knesset if they oppose Israel’s status as a democracy or as a Jewish state.
