The new wave of approved construction projects in Jerusalem is part of the Likud party’s election campaign, Maariv reported Wednesday, quoting a source close to a senior Likud minister.

“This is our campaign,” the source said. “To this point it’s been working wonderfully.”

“It’s not a coincidence that right after the announcement you see ministers sent to explain and clarify it in the media. It’s all carefully planned,” the source added.
