New Info on Conn. Shooter , Guns Belonged to his Mother

Adam Lanza, the 20-year-old man responsible for the death of 20 students and 6 educators at a Connecticut elementary school, may have had access to at least five guns, a law enforcement official said Saturday.

Three weapons, including a semi-automatic rifle and two pistols, were recovered from the school on Friday. The guns were purchased legally by the killers mother, according to the official.

Investigators believe that after killing his mother, Lanza took her guns and forced his way into the elementary school where she taught, where he targeted two classrooms of kindergartners and first-graders.
